Personal Prayer :- 

Majestic Spirit, I thank you for getting us through another year, and protecting us. I ask that through this break that you protect us, and guide us when we are lost. I also ask that you help those who need you blessing as they are struggling, and fighting for their lives.  Amen. 

Reflection for the year..

Our year has come to it's time where we will all say good bye. This year has been a very horrendous, horrendous but amazingly, fun and full of surprises. This chapter of my journey has been amazing though there were downfalls it still turned out as an amazing experience. Out of all my chapters and experiences throughout the years here, I think this is my favourite of all. Tears had been shed between us all, but there were more smiles than tears.. Majority of the things that had happened were what you would call, unimaginable. Overall this school is amazingly, unpredictable but the best thing about this is the love that is shared among us all.

Holidays, End of week 2

Sadly our holidays are coming to an end, and all students are having to go back to school. Though for most it is sad that we have to go back but for others, well others can not wait to get back to school. For myself I can not wait to get back, as I'll see my friends whom I've dearly missed and a bit of the teachers. But school wouldn't be school without the teachers so of course I've missed them, but just a little bit. Week two of my holidays weren't as busy as week one. I had not done as much as last week as I had only gone; to the movies again, gone to the Pakuranga Night Markets, I had also attended a production at Selwyn College and that pretty much sums my week two holidays.

Holidays, Week 1.

Yesterday had marked the last day of the first week of the holidays. During that week a few things had happened, I had gone to the movies with friends, my cousin and I had gotten paid for our spring cleaning jobs, and lastly 85,000 homes were cut off with power. Shopping centres, were empty as if it was owned by a ghost town, but the roads were flooded with vehicles everywhere. The power cut had lasted from 4am to around 5pm, for my family we found this power cut pretty hard as our landline, mobile phones, laptops, electrical appliances, and also internet connection had not been working in those hours.  

Holidays..

Holidays have already begun and my plans for them aren't as bad as before, because I have more things to do. My cousin and I are getting paid to do some spring cleaning around the house, so that's not so bad. My friends and I are planning to hang out, and my other friends we're planning to have a day out together. Hopefully I don't get completely sick before all of this as I am picking up the flu. So far my holidays have just been an add on to me being grumpy, as my brother had thrown the puppy on my head while I was sleeping and the puppy had scratched half my head.

Reflection : Art diorama work, how our group worked.

 

Our group had been given a task to create a diorama with as many inputs in a dairy farm that we could make/create and put into our display. We had many ideas based on the inputs but I think we struggled a bit to put them all into the diorama. Our inputs that we have displayed in our diorama are ; Electricity, Stock, Buildings, Machinery and animals.  Overall I think we worked well as a group and the work that we have produced was pretty good.

Expressive Writing

This is just a bit of my expressive writing. Some may describe this feeling as warm and fuzzy, though i’m not saying that their wrong but i’m not saying that thier right either. For me it’s there’s more than just that warm and fuzzy feeling. The feeling to me is beyond happy,

Weekly Reflection

This week I have achieved one of my goals in maths which was to order fractions with different denominators. For writing I am still understanding how to add more details by using descriptive words, similies and metaphors. I think I have not progressed enough in Language and Languages.

Pain, it’s never welcomed by anyone, obviously.. But the thing about it is that it demands to be felt. Though this saying is sad what makes it even sadder is that it’s true. Many people try and disown pain as it owns them, but majority of those people have failed.
