Basketball
Dribbling the basketballs, energy flying everywhere, different techniques being shown, and sweat running down pupils faces. Today we had begun the sport, Basketball, for this term Basketball was our kiwi sport. At the start of the session we learnt how to do a “jump-stop”, next was how to “pivot” then “bongo drums” and dribble and much more. When we were learning how to bounce the ball in different and new techniques I, myself found it harder to do compared to majority of the boys in my class. After we were taught some new techniques we moved on to a game. The teams were split up unevenly in my own opinion because the teams were split up in boys vs girls and to be honest I don’t think any of the girls were as good as the boys. Later on we had already begun the game and surprisingly the girls were winning! But our luck didn't last for long the boys had caught up and the score was 2 - 5, not long until we had reached the final match of the day. Finals, last point wins.. Momentarily squeals, smiles and cheering was spread across the girls team, we had won! Surprised but happy that we had beaten the boys.

My Holidays
Hours before noon, my cousin and I were unfortunately woken up for a holiday programme which was held at Selwyn College. Teens, pre-teens coming from different countries around the world such as France, Italy, Fiji and many more. Momentarily we had walked into a room full of unfamiliar faces. Later on in the day we had arrived at a beach that was not from Waiwera thermal pools.
Sand up to me feet, sun beaming down and causing my skin to go a darker tone. Frisbee flying high, beats blasting from the stereo, and all around everyone taking pictures. At the start of the day it started out with just me and my mp 3 player but things changed when i made friends with a french girl whom name was Lela. Later on I made more friends with Indi and Sanda and others as the day past.
Before we gathered our things my new friends and I took as many photos at the beautiful beach and set off. Sun was just about down and my cousin and I had just arrived. After a fun day we were told to do a big load of dishes.
Hello 2014 !
Kicking off the year by turning up to school late, isn't the best way to start off the year but it’s a start! Students have come and gone and now that the year twenty fourteen has come it is my last year here at St Pius X. Can not wait to see what this year brings us.

Sooner or later..
Oh NO! All children are going to be going back to school in TWENTY DAYS. Books, homework, the lot! Soon enough we are going to start back at school with a more new and exciting things ahead of us. Although some of us aren't excited to get back to school the rest of us just can't wait. Twenty days are gonna go by and when we're back at school I bet we're gonna be moaning and complaining saying "I wish it was the holidays". But it's part of life we've got to put up with our dislikes and our likes.

It's a New Year.
The year of 2013 has finally ended and we have now entered the year of 2014. In my own opinion that is unbelievable for us to reach the year of 2014. Many years have passed but I'm just amazed that we've made it this far, to the year 2014. Before time passes by we have many things to look forward to this year that we just don't know about. Many of them we be surprises and those surprises will come as a shock to many of us but as we wait we become more curious about what lays ahead. As we live in the present some of us think about our past and just can't wait for what the future brings us.

The Holidays have begun!
December 17th was the day when our school year for 2013 had ended. Holidays had begun and my holidays aren't that great so far, so far all I'm doing is chores, chores and more CHORES. Doesn't sound that great, aye? Luckily my hopes aren't yet dead my hopes are waiting for Christmas! I love Christmas because it's not only the birthday of Christ it's also a time when we come together with family and friends a spend the day together. Hopes are now waiting for Christmas, soon we're gonna see wrapping paper lying all over the place.
