Expressive Writing.
Many feelings had hit me when I'd found out that there was a possibility of my Auntie not surviving her operation. As we got to the hospital my Auntie smiled at my brother, cousin and myself as if nothing was gonna go wrong. When we had arrived home late that evening I asked my Mum to ring my Aunt, just to see how she was doing but she didn't pick up so that meant she had already left for her operation.

My holidays, so far.
The holidays are soon coming to an end, sadly and so far the holidays have been better than the last holidays. Last week my younger cousin flew up from Wellington and spent a few days with myself and my other cousins, so it was a full house. Anyway we had gone bowling and movies which was pretty fun but then all that had soon come to an end as he had to then fly down to Christchurch on that Saturday evening during that week. On that same week my aunt, cousin, brother and myself had gone to Auckland Hospital to visit our other Aunt who had stayed there a few days. Not long until we had moved onto the second week of the holidays. On that week we hadn't really done much but go to the movies again and do chores. As the week is coming to an end we still have plans, but other than that we have to prepare for school.

Milk Experiment
CHILLY MILK EXPERIMENT:
PURPOSE: TO OBSERVE AND RECORD THE CHANGES WHEN DIFFERENT MILK IS PUT IN THE FREEZER.
WHAT YOU NEED: a selection of 3 different type of milk
clear container
WHAT TO DO: Put an equal volume of each type of milk in a clear container
Place each container in the freezer
Record what happens to each type of milk as it freezes. Note its colour, texture and shape.
Record the time it takes to each variety to freeze.
Soy milk
Almond milk
Condensed milk
What it looked like when it was frozen :-
The soy milk had froze but when you squeezed it, it helped develop back to liquid. Almond milk had the same procedure as the soy milk. Lastly condensed milk, it had no change except it going cold but other than that nothing changed.
Time taken to freeze :- Over an hour for all.
Conclusion :- Overall the one with the most liquid froze or were more solid than the others.
This is an image of the experiment when it had come out from the freezer : -

Science Experiment
Aim : Can we get water out of milk?
Equipment : Frying pan, and a spatula.
Prediction : What do you think will happen and why?
I think the milk will boil, then bubble up and lastly maybe dissolve.
Method : What do you think made the changes?
The milk started to boil then it started bubbling up then the centre was forming into powder as the outside was bubbling/boiling. It then started forming into powder or cream or it just descenecrates. As it changes the amount gets smaller, it also was burning as the heat was high.

Procedural Writing, How to be a friend.
How to be a friend, with four easy steps.
Step 1 : never be mean neither nasty or rude to those who are nice, kind and caring towards you.
Step 2 : listen to them and get to know them better, see what you both/all have in common.
Step 3 : you should think about if they are a good friend to you and whether they are a good influence towards you and your behaviour.
Last and most importantly remember to love, care and look out for them in times when they are in need.

Reading Activity, Reflection.
Today, Thursday 29th May, I had read a fiction story which was called "The Ice Cream shop window", the story was about a group of kids trying to find out who had vandalised their favourite ice cream shops window. The author had many the ending pretty interesting because the culprit had a glowing head.
